Please see details regards Pride & Place Bentilee has been awarded £20m government funding to
support projects that can make a real difference to our
neighbourhood and the people who live here.
What makes this opportunity different is the decisions
about how the money is spent will be made locally. Rather
than government deciding what Bentilee needs, we have
the chance to decide for ourselves!
I want us to have a proper conversation about what we
want for our community and what we think is worth
investing in.
We know our neighbourhood. We know what
works well, what could be better and what would make a
difference to everyday life here. That is why we have called
our programme Our Bentilee, Our Future.
To start that conversation, we want to hear from you! We have launched a short survey asking what you like about
living here, what you would like to see improved and what
you think we should focus on in future. Whether you have lived in Bentilee all your life or have only recently moved
here, your views are just as important.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and enter
our draw to win a bumper Bentilee hamper.
The more people who take part, the better picture we will have of what
residents want and the stronger our case will be for deciding
where the funding should go.
This is a great opportunity for Bentilee, and I'm looking
forward to working with residents and the Neighbourhood
Board to make the most of it.
We will shortly launch a new website where we will share
details of what's happening and when, but until then, you
can email support@vast.org.uk with any enquiries.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
